NatSKA itself is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to get into Motorsport at a fraction of the price, while also encouraging skills such as mechanicing and marshaling.
The work carried out for this project was done to give the organisation a new look and fresh approach after many years of neglect. NatSKA had fallen by the way side in the karting world, suffering from the country wide decline in drivers so a plan was formed to help bring it back to life, this obviously included the look of the organisation and how that could be improved to bring in new drivers & teams. This project is still on going with work ranging from design & photography to updating of results, it’s something that requires constant attention both online and offline.
A full website design was done but unfortunately due to time constraints and developer issues it got put on the shelf! In the end it worked out well, building the whole project from the ground up using assets and content fully generated by myself, having the chance to apply my varied creative skill set and working on a subject I’m greatly passionate about, motorsport! The work done so far not only includes the website but also printed materials, managing of social networks (Twitter / Facebook), race reporting, photography and promotional materials: All of which can be found at Natska.co.uk!
